This Sunday, Portuguese celebrate Mother's Day, and if you are in the city, there are some nice events and activities to do with your children  (if you are a mother) or tho do with your mother (if she is around). Have already suggested you some of the great Mother's Day Brunches in town that can guarantee an unforgettable Sunday meal for you and your family. Today I'm bringing you some options for the lovely mothers that enjoy a nice glass of wine. Both venues are about one hour from Lisbon, one close to the sea and the other in the country, and visiting this places is a good opportunity to know a little bit more about Portugal. So, let's chill out a bit ladies, and have a sip of some great Portuguese wine at one of this events.

At this free of cost event, you will be invited to taste 2 of Herdade da Comporta wines (one red and one white). The event takes about an hour, but the beautiful setting of the estate and the beaches close by can guarantee a great afternoon with your family.

On Mother's Day, make a unique visit to Fernão Pó estate and have a special lunch in the vineyard.
Start with a visit to the winery and the vineyards, and then have lunch in the vineyard, enjoying a traditional Portuguese "Cozido" - a substantial savory dish that combines a selection of meats and vegetables. The event will include a wine tasting, commented by the oenologist João Palhoça.
